Consortium "Bechtel-Enka" is the only one to submit an offer on a public invitation for the construction of Moravian corridor

Working Group for the Selection of a Strategic Partner for the Implementation of the Project for the Construction of the Infrastructure Corridor of the E-761 Motorway Corridor Pojate-Preljina (Moravian Corridor), chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, prof. Zorana Mihajlovic, PhD, held today the second session at which bids were opened on a public invitation for this project.


Working Group, set up by the Government of Serbia, stated at today's session that an application for public invitation had arrived by the deadline, and was submitted by Bechtel-Enka consortium.

After verifying that the criteria from the public call are fulfilled, Working Group will prepare a report to submit to the Government of Serbia, which will decide on the selection of a strategic partner for the construction of Moravian Corridor.


Moravian corridor will be 112 kilometers long and will connect Corridor 10 and highway Milos the Great and all major places in this area with about 500,000 people, including Cacak, Kraljevo, Vrnjacka Banja, Trstenik, Krusevac, Stalac and Cicevac.


In addition to the construction of the highway, the project will also cover the regulation of West Morava and its tributaries, as well as the construction of telecommunications infrastructure.

Members of the Working Group are, among others, Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic, Minister of Environment Goran Trivan, State Secretaries of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, chief of the Prime Minister’s office Milos Popovic, chief of the President’s office Ivica Kojic, Acting director of the Public Debt Administration Ana Tripovic, State Attorney Oliver Stanimirovic, representatives of the Security and Information Agency, Acting Director General of PE Roads of Serbia Zoran Drobnjak and sector directors at PE Roads of Serbia.
