Department of managing projects financed from EU funds

Department of managing projects financed from EU funds perform tasks related to: the identification of projects for the use of EU funds from the Ministry; harmonization of the proposals with the technical requirements, program and sector priorities; preparation of the relevant project documentation; keeping track of all the proposed project proposals; preparation and audit of the list of priority projects within the competence of the Ministry; preparing and coordinating of the strategic and planning documents; planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of projects financed from EU funds; implementation of the procedures for the establishment of management and controlling systems in the accordance with the requirements of the national authorizing officer and the requirements for the accreditation of the operating structure for the implementation of pre-accession assistance, and information to a preparation of the documents required for obtaining and maintaining accreditation officers for assistance programs; act upon the findings of the national auditor, the auditor of the European Commission, as well as external evaluators, the implementation of corrective measures and reporting of approving programs and the National Authorized Officer of the implemented measures; cooperation with other sectors in the ministry, administrative bodies within the state bodies involved in the decentralized system of the management of the EU funds and other stakeholders in the planning and implementation of projects; preparing reports on the site preparation, implementation and monitoring of the implementation of projects financed from EU funds; performing other tasks within the domain of the Department.
