The significance of the project:
Construction of an intermodal terminal in Belgrade promotes developments of state-of-the-art combined transport by increasing the share of railway transport an creating a partnership with the road transport. This will make the railway sector more competitive on the market and enable it to follow all future trends in transport by using state-of-the-art technologies.

Investment value:
15.54 million EUR
Start of the project:
Commencement of works was in September 2020.
Completion of the project:
The works are to be completed in 18 months from the date of the commencement of works (in Q1 2022).
Source of finance:
Pursuant to the IPA 2015 Financial Agreement with the European Commission, the amount of EU grant for this Project is 15.54 million EUR (85% of the total value of the Project), while an amount of 1.76 million EUR is intended for national co-financing (15% of the total value of the Project),
The Supervision Contract for the Project was signed with the company EPTISA on 26 August 2019, for a total amount of 675.100 EUR,
The Contract for construction of an intermodal terminal in Belgrade (FIDIC Yellow Book – development of project documentation and execution of works), signed on 14 October 2019 with the company STRABAG, total value of 14,469,299.75 EUR.
Project description:
The Project includes construction of an intermodal terminal in Belgrade, namely construction works, supervision of construction and technical assistance to the Terminal Operator. The works include construction of access roads and access railways, premises for storage and manoeuvring and an administrative building with parking facilities for freight vehicles.
