Department for road transport, roads and traffic safety the scope of the sector; establishing cooperation with the institutions for scientific research in the field of national and international road traffic, transport, environment and logistics; approval of the scientific research programs and professional training in these fields; preparation of the professional base for the preparation of law drafts and other regulations in the field of national and international road traffic and transport; preparation of the proposals for bilateral and multilateral agreements in the field of road transport; administrative procedures; preparation of responses to ministerial questions; monitoring the implementation of laws and other regulations in this relevant field; public transport schedule ; approval of the new timetables; registering and recording in the scope of the Sector; giving an official opinion on the documents of other bodies and organizations within the domain of the Sector; establishing and carrying out the common policies in the field of national and international road transport, logistics and reducing the negative impact of traffic; participating in writing the legal documents with other agencies and organizations throughout working groups, preparing draft measures for improving road transport industry, road safety and the development of the intelligent transportation systems, monitoring the road maintenance and development throughout the annual programs and suggesting the measures on the road infrastructure and other goals by proposing measures for the implementation of plans; cooperating with the institutions for scientific research in the fields of traffic, geodetic engineering, ecology and logistics, road safety, intelligent transport systems and equipment and other parts of the transport infrastructure, coordinating the work of the traffic safety in the scientific research program and professional training, participating in the preparation of draft laws and other regulations in the area of roads, road safety and intelligent transport systems in road transport, promoting traffic safety measures, preparing proposals for the negotiations for the bilateral and multilateral agreements in the field of roads, road safety and intelligent transport systems; preparing administrative procedures, preparing answers to ministerial questions, performing technical regulation of traffic on public roads, tracks and estimating the implementation of strategies, laws and other regulations and initiating changes and extensions of the laws and the regulations of the relevant authorities involved in the preparation of plans for financing the road safety, undertaking administrative and other measures of adoption of the resolution on the eliminating irregularities, work prohibition, submitting a request for violation procedure, the process of economic offense or criminal offenses, giving an official opinion on documents prepared by other agencies and organizations in the area abovementioned, undertaking and implementing joint measures in the area of roads and geodetic measurements, traffic safety and intelligent transport systems in the road transport, and performing other work in the domain of the Sector.
