Department for railways and intermodal transport

Department for railways and intermodal transport performs tasks related to: safety, contractual and property relations; unity of technological systems; development and transport policy; preparation of analysis, reports, and information on railway and intermodal transport; improvement of the conditions and relations in the railways transport; preparation of the bases for draft laws and other regulations in the field of railways and intermodal transport; general administrative procedures; preparation of draft responses to the ministerial questions; preparation of the opinion and guidance on the implementation of laws in the field of railway transport; proposing, negotiating and managing projects in the field of railways and intermodal transport; cooperation with other organizations and authorities regarding railways and intermodal transport; writing legal documents in cooperation with other institutions and organizations through committees and working groups and other activities in the domain of the Sector. 

In the Sector for railways and intermodal transport the following unit has being formed:
