Rail and intermodal transport Division performs tasks related to the development of logistics centers and services; analyzing the situations and problems in the railways transportation of goods and passengers; monitoring status and economic status of operators in the railway; monitoring the development of modern transport technology and proposing measures for their improvement; monitoring international regulations in the field of railway and intermodal transport; proposing ideas for the development of logistics centers and services; cooperation with other public institutions with a goal of creating basis for the development of network of terminals for intermodal transport; preparing proposals for bilateral and multilateral agreements in the field of railway and intermodal transport; preparing project proposals and tracking projects in the field of railway and intermodal transport; analysis of the impact of transport costs in the railway industry and participation in railway, road and waterway transport market; transport policy and cost policy and subventions in the railway transport of goods and passengers ; performing other tasks within the domain of the Division.
