The reconstruction of Berilovac water factory in Pirot is the most important project for the city because this reconstruction / upgrade of the water plant that was put into operation in the beginning of the 1980s has been completely modernized by the introduction of a new water filtration system (closed sand filters under pressure) ensuring the removal of increased water turbidity that occurs during abundant precipitation / snow melting, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the water factory in the next decades at a full capacity of 270 l / s.
