Department for Railway Infrastructure and Intermodal Transport

The Department for Railway Infrastructure and Intermodal Transport carries out tasks related to: preparation of expert bases for the drafting of laws and proposals of other regulations in the field of railway and intermodal transport; monitoring the implementation of legal and other regulations in the field of railways and intermodal transport; strategy for the development of railway infrastructure and intermodal transport infrastructure; international affairs; preparation of opinions on maintenance programs for railway infrastructure, organization and regulation of rail transport, as well as the construction and reconstruction of railway infrastructure, business programs, moving the five-year plan and other plans in the field of railways; preparation for realization and realization of international loans and other investments in railway and intermodal transport; proposing and monitoring the implementation of projects in the field of railway and intermodal transport development; development of a model for financing railway infrastructure; contracting and monitoring the implementation of contracts for the management of railway infrastructure and public service obligations; monitoring the status and economic position of the railway operator; monitoring the development of modern transport technologies and proposing measures for their incentives; activities related to Corridor 10 (organizations, forums, conferences); monitoring and analysis of the state of the railway infrastructure system; development of the infrastructure of the combined transport terminal; development of logistics centers and services, as well as other tasks from the scope of the Department.
