Department for passenger transport in Road Traffic
The Department for passenger transport carries out tasks related to: preparation of expert bases for drafting laws and proposals of other regulations in the field of passenger transport; participation in legal processing of draft laws and proposals of other regulations in the field of road transport; participation in the preparation of opinions on draft laws and other acts whose proposers are other state administration bodies; providing legal assistance in the preparation of administrative acts in the first instance in the field of road transport; preparation of draft administrative acts issued by other competent authorities in the second instance and acts related to administrative disputes and other court procedures in the field of road traffic; preparation of opinions, reports and information in the field of road transport, implementation and preparation of the proposal basis for conducting negotiations and conclusion of multilateral and bilateral agreements in the field of passenger transport; issuing permits for international passenger transport; monitoring and analysis of international passenger transport; preparing the opinion on the merits of the carriers operating the international carriage of passengers; Approval of driving directions for new lines in international regular passenger transport; tracking and analysis of international passenger transport; determining the fulfillment of conditions for the operation of bus stations; updating and running of bus station databases; registration and verification of driving routines in intermediate line passenger transport; keeping a register of certified driving lines in intermediate line passenger transport; deleting rows from the registry of driving rows and keeping a database of deleted and logged rows; cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade; regional chambers of commerce, Serbian Chamber of Commerce; participation in the definition of incentive measures to promote the development of international passenger transport; cooperation with the bodies of other countries in charge of transport and authorities and institutions in the Republic of Serbia, participation in the development and monitoring of the goals defined by the action plan of the Transport Development Strategy, participates in the harmonization of regulations from the scope of the Department with relevant EU regulations, as well as other activities from the scope of the Section .
