In the Department for Preparation and Monitoring of Strategic and Other Documents in the Field of Housing, Utility Activities and Energy Efficiency, the following tasks are carried out: preparation of a strategic framework for sustainable development of housing, communal activities and energy efficiency in the Republic of Serbia; creation of expert bases for draft laws and draft regulations regulating housing, utility activities and energy efficiency; preparation of analyzes, reports and information in the field of housing and communal activities and energy efficiency in order to monitor the implementation of strategic documents and regulations and to propose measures to improve the situation in the area in question; preparation and monitoring of implementation of programs and projects in the field of housing, communal activities and energy efficiency; keeping records and databases for the preparation and monitoring of the implementation of housing projects and the development of communal infrastructure; participation in the drafting of opinions on drafts and proposals of strategic and action documents and programs prepared by other competent authorities that are related to issues related to housing, utility activities and energy efficiency; cooperation with local governments and organizations at the local level working in the field of housing within the framework of the preparation and implementation of programs and projects of housing support and improvement of public utilities and energy efficiency; other operations within the scope of the Section.
