The implementation of Contractual Agreements LOT 1 and LOT 2 will provide the necessary transport and utility infrastructure conditions for the needs of the Makiš Depot, from which Lines 1 and 2 of the Belgrade Metro will be managed, covering a total area of 72 hectares. It will serve for the parking of rolling stock for Lines 1 and 2 of the Belgrade metro, as well as for the maintenance of the entire future metro network, which will consist of three lines.
The construction of Collector 3 for drainage of the future metro depot at Makiško Polje has been completed. Preparatory works for the construction of Collector 4 are currently underway. For the remaining six collectors, the preparation of the Execution Design (PZI) is currently underway. For the remaining parts of the Project—including roads, interchanges, structures, pumping stations, and electrical installations—the preparation of the Construction Permit Design (PGD) is in progress to support the issuance of construction permits.

Budget of RS and domestic banks loans
In order to provide the missing infrastructure required for the future metro depot at Makiško Polje, and considering that the Makiš depot will serve for the maintenance of the Belgrade metro rolling stock as well as all necessary maintenance machinery, these Contractual Agreements will encompass the construction of internal and access roads, a complete drainage system, electrical infrastructure for power supply, and all other necessary works required for the commencement of the depot construction.
