The significance of the project:
This Project is very important for the objective at increasing the share of the railway transport in the passenger transport, and increasing income from passenger transport. Introduction of new vehicles into transport will also contribute to improving the quality of transport services, as well as reducing maintenance costs, and contribute to the preservation of the environment.
Status of the project:
The Report on the expert evaluation of tenders for Phase 1 of the tender procedure and invitation to tender for explanation meetings is in development.

Source of finance:
The Project is funded by a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Project description:
The Project includes purchase of 18 new electric motor sets, with the total value of 100 million EUR.
